Old Facebook Post of Deji Adeyanju Campaigning For Wike’s Aide Lere Olayinka Release From Detention Goes Viral

Free Lere Olayinka now. Criticism is not a crime. This is tyranny taken too far. “
This were the words of activist, Deji Adeyanju, in 2020, when Lere Olayinka was arrested and arraigned to court over alleged financial impropriety and abuse of office.
Interestingly today, Deji Adeyanju and Lere Olayinka are at loggerheads over the reports that VDM was arrested by the EFCC.
Lere Olayinka who is currently the media aide to a presidential ally, Wike, has been a vocal supporter of the events, using his platform to mock VDM supporters, tagging them as social mob.
This has not gone down well with Deji Adeyanju, who is the lawyer representing VDM today.
As social media will have it, a past post where Lawyer Deji was fighting for the release of Lere Olayinka in 2020 is now viral.
The top comment features a warning from one Vincent Bamidele, who warned Deji Adeyanju, that Lere Olayinka was never an activist, but a mole in the PDP.
“I strongly disagree with you on this Oga Deji.
When you were arrested…. We kicked against your arrest because it was evident that you were arrested for criticizing their government.
When Agba jalingo was arrested…. We kicked against the arrest by Ayade.
When Omoyele Sowore was arrested…… We kicked against the injustice….. Elias Ozikpu was arrested and we didn’t keep quiet.
Lere is never an activist and can never be. He is simply an errand boy who is been used my Fayose to destroy Ekiti’s PDP. If He’s found guilty in the allegation….. Let him get a lawyer and free himself.
