Ossai Success Ovia, an aide to the Delta state governor has taken to social media to knock UK-based cleric, Tobi Adegboyega, for inviting singer Davido to his party and allowing him perform.
Tobi who turned a year older, had a star-studded party in the UK last night. Reacting to photos and the videos from the party, Ossai wrote;
‘’I’m disappointed in Pastor Tobi for inviting Davido to his birthday party
This is an embarrassment to the Gospel , He should ask God for forgiveness.
Pastor Tobi celebrated his birthday last night and invited Davido to perform.
However, I didn’t feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, as the party was inconsistent with pastoral values.
As the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s actions appeared unrighteous, embarrassing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As a pastor , he should have invited Gospel musicians to come and minister to his guest and save souls to the kingdom of God .
Why does Pastor Tobi consistently bring embarrassment to the Gospel?
He should reconsider identifying as a pastor, as his actions lack the fruit of the Spirit.
A pastor cannot celebrate birthdays with secular performances.
It’s inconsistent.
