The National Universities Commission, Abuja has approved the commencement of Pharmacy programme in Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.
In a letter dated 19th December, 2024 addressed to the Vice Chancellor and signed by Abubakar Girei, Acting Director, Academic Planning, on behalf of the Acting Executive Secretary of the Commission, the Commission approved the establishment of the full time mode of Doctor of Pharmacy for Ekiti State University.

With this approval, the university is expected to kick start the process of admitting pioneer students into the Faculty of Pharmacy.
