Governor Oyebanji Two Years Scorecard

October 16th 2024 is the day to score the performance of Ekiti Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who has now spent two years in office.

Any government must has fully settled by now, and with an unprecedented massive political adviser appointment early in the regime, the expectations are high for Oyebanji.

Looking at where Ekiti was two years back, we can safely give BAO, a B score, quite impressive is the road repairs/construction and refraining from dangerous loans.

The allocation Ekiti receives today is quite high compared to what any Governor got in the past. The incumbent government has also tried their best in terms of transparency.

Though many might complain that the cost of executing contracts are high, it will be wrong to point fingers. Since the inauguration of President Tinubu government, Nigeria is experiencing an artificial inflation.

This inflation has not stopped governors from appointing over 300 SA’s a record high in Ekiti state.

Biodun Oyebanji was elected based on the fact that he is the first true homegrown product, he has gone on to prove that he truly loves the state.
