As Nigerians prepare for the 2024 Christmas celebration, bag of rice cost as high as N105,000 and full like fowl (chicken) cost N40,000. The minimum wage in the country is N70,000.
It seems Fowls are set to enjoy a presidential pardon in Nigeria, as chicken cost as high as N40,000. A regular for Christmas in the country, some are opting for Turtle.
In the video sighted on Tiktok, user brownie_dibtan shared a video from her family kitchen, as three turtles swim in a drum of water.
The video which is now viral on TikTok with over 300,000 views has drawn reactions as many share their experience with the current economy.
