Though top news site Ghanaweb, claims that Shatta Wale is richer than Stonebwoy as they placed the net worth of the pair as $6 million and $5.5 million respectively. Though the validity of their claims remains largely unknown.
The argument of who is richer among the pair is set to linger on, and it might be hard to convince any party, but what s certain is the fact that both are wonderful musicians who have done Ghana proud over the years.
Why are they beefing?
The Ghanaian music industry has never been this polarized, Stonebwoy reportedly pulled a gun during a stage brawl with Shatta Wale, during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in the capital, Accra.
This has been tagged by many as the height of their long time feud. They have been at war for some time now, and it took a bit of nasty turn recently.
On the 19th of May 2019, a video footage of the brawl appears to show Stonebwoy holding a gun.
This was after Stonebwoy had just been awarded dancehall reggae artist of the year when his musical rival, Shatta Wale, and his entourage mounted the stage.
Well, the good thing is no one got hurt, and it ended as a stage brawl.

Shatta is devoted to charity projects and during Christmas festivities of 2014, he visited the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Ghana’s biggest hospital to donate generously to the Children’s Block worth thousands of Ghanaian cedi.
