According to Goroso Ekiti, he started making skits since his university days in EKSU. And he was given the name ‘Goroso’ earlier, back in secondary school due to his height at that time.
He has declared his love for English football side, Chelsea. While speaking in an interview with Punch, he said;
” I started supporting Chelsea around 2008, and it was because of the presence of African players and black players on the team. I saw them as a team that someone could be proud of because of their mentality, and they showed that on the pitch all the time. The Chelsea I began to support them was a team that the opponent’s fan wouldn’t celebrate a result until the referee blows the final whistle. Beyond the team, I also liked the ownership style of Roman Abrahamovic. You’d see hm at every home game and he seemed like a no-nonsense person in making decisions.”
GorosoEkiti has revealed that the Ekiti dialect, which makes him unique, was just fun for him. He even got to meet the Governor of Ekiti state because of one of his videos.
Olalekan Owolabi said that he feels honoured whenever celebrities like Funke Akindele and Liquorose use his comic videos.
