The Director, Directorate of Foundation Programmes in Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, Professor Remi Famiwole has advised the foundation students of the university to make best use of the opportunities offered by the Directorate.
The Director gave the charge while addressing the foundation programme students of the university during an orientation programme.
The Director highlighted the significance of the foundation programmes aimed at preparing candidates yet to secure university admission for their future degree programmes in the university.
Professor Famiwole stressed that the essence of the orientation was to familiarize the candidates with university culture and to provide guidance on how to achieve success in their studies preparatory to being fully integrated into the university. He emphasized further that the diploma programme serves as a stepping stone for candidates aiming at direct entry admission into 200 level in the university.
Professor Famiwole assured them of the Directorate’s commitment to supporting them throughout their academic endeavours. He urged them to remain focused and adhere to the university’s rules and regulations to ensure their success in the programme.

The orientation programme also featured talks from the Directorate’s Administrative Secretary and Accountant who provided valuable insights into the administrative aspects and payment of fees procedure to ensure a hitch free academic exercise.
The orientation was well-attended by students and staff members of the Directorate.
Feedback from attendees indicated that they found the session both informative and educative.
