For the 2024 Nigerian Army 88 regular recruitment exercise, the Senator representing Ekiti North senatorial district has called on residents to join the army.
The senator through his media aide has said citizens of Ekiti North should register on the army portal.

The Senator representing Ekiti North District, Cyril Fasuyi hereby calls on any Ekiti North indigene interested to be enlisted into the Nigerian Army to kindly go and purchase the form.
The completed application form is expected to have the following requirements:
- Name
- Application number
- State of Origin
- Local Government Area
- Sex
- Phone number of the candidates .

Basic requirements
1. Applicants must be single, Nigerian citizens by birth, and possess a National Identity Card/NIN slip/BVN.
2. Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standards.
3. Applicants must be free of any criminal conviction by a court of law.
Qualifications
1. All applicants must possess at least a minimum of four passes including English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
2. In addition to the above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess TRADES TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE. Details are available on the website.
3. Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital, local government council, or age declaration.
3. An applicant must not be less than 18 years or older than 22 years for non-tradesmen and women, while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years as of 31st December 2024.
4. Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.
5. Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
