It will be recalled that one Mr Isaac Fayose, a junior brother to the former Governor Ayo Fayose has called for protest in Ekiti State recently.
Though issues raised are critical, we
believe that Mr Isaac Fayose does not possess the moral ground with his pedigree to call for a protest.
Ekiti People are educated and believe in civilized approach to issues.
We believe in dialogue.
It is only when all peaceful approach are annexed and it fails that we can resort to protest.
NNPP believes there is no peaceful protest hence our resolve for dialogue.
We call on the state government of His Excellency, Biodun Oyebanji to however critically look into the issues as raised by Mr Isaac Fayose and dialogue with Ekiti People.
We commend the Governor on his efforts to better the lots of Ekiti People. We deserve good roads and other social comforts.
NNPP feels seriously concern on the plights of Ekiti workforce as the government is foot dragging on the minimum wage implementation.
With the government just inserting the minimum wage in 2025 budget shows insensitivity towards the livelihood of Ekiti workers.
NNPP will like to see more of actions than rhetorics.
