GOVERNOR ABAYOMI OYEBANJI CHARGES NEWLY PROMOTED NSCDC OFFICERS TO JUSTIFY THEIR ELEVATION.

The Governor of Ekiti State His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has charged newly promoted officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command to justify their elevations by the federal government in their duty line and services to the state, humanity and Nigeria.

The Governor who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Security Brig Gen Ebenezer Ogundana rtd opined that promotion is a needed impetus to encourage diligent and worthy officers to work more and ready to deliver on and off the job when call upon to render services to the populace.

The Senior Special Assistant who thanked the command for their supporting services to the state urged the newly promoted officers to see their elevations as call to duty and readiness to serve the country in their various operational and rescue assignments anywhere they are assigned to work.

In his opening remarks, the State Commandant Dr Sosina Oluwaseun Paul fsi thanked the State Governor for his support to the command and urged him to do more as the command is ready to work in line with the current administration mantra of making Ekiti State the most crime free state in Nigeria with a call to the promoted officers to continue to work in line with the Act that established the Corps as well as the constitution of the country.

The State Commandant who appreciated the presence of other security agencies during the decoration ceremony at the Command’s headquarters, opined that the synergy that is existing between the security agencies in the state is producing good results and efforts will always be put in place to sustain the existing peace of the state.

The promoted officers numbering about 80 cut across the rank and file as 13 Deputy Commandants, 3 Assistant Commandant and others got the promotion and decorated during the ceremony with Nigerian Army, Correctional Services, Immigration services, Nigeria Police, Federal Fire Service and Federal Road Safety Commission were represented during the ceremony.
