Debo Ogundoyin is one of the sons of the late foremost philanthropist and industrialist, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin.
He lost his father, Adeseun Ogundoyin, in 1991 as a teenager. Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, Alhaji Arisekola Alao, Chief Akanni Aluko dominated the social scene like the roaring lions dominated the jungle in Ibadan during their days.
Adebo is an Agronomist and a graduate of Babcock University.

On the 10th of June, 2019, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin emerged as Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly. Adebo is representing Ibarapa-East at the 9th Assembly.
He emerged PDP candidate after pulling 37 votes to beat Kehinde Adebisi during the primary election. Then went on to win in the 2019 general election.
The 32-year-old is one of the youngest Speakers of the House Of Assembly in Nigeria.
